ATLANTA, GA- The same week Blake Cooper wraps up school, the 17 year old is making the rounds to discuss the nationwide release of a movie where he's the star.
"Measure of a Man" is a comedy-drama about a bullied teen who experiences a turning point during a summer where he learns to stand up for himself.
Cooper opened up to the A-Scene's Francesca Amiker about everything from putting up with friends, who still call him "Chuck" for his role in "The Maze Runner," to the unusual way veteran actor Donald Sutherland put him at ease before they started working together.
"Measure Of A Man" opens nationwide next Friday, May 11. It's PG-13. You can follow Blake on Instagram @FollowBlakeCooper and Twitter at @FollowBlakeCoop.
