SiriusXM is launching Holiday Music on Wednesday

Ready for Christmas music on the radio? It starts on Wednesday.

Now that Halloween has passed everyone by, Holiday Music has taken over the airwaves.

SiriusXM Satellite Radio says they are starting their seasonal music channels at noon on Wednesday, November 1, with SiriusXM Holly on Channel 70 with contemporary music favorites, including music from Kelly Clarkson, Pentatonix, Josh Groban, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Brian Setzer, Celine Dion, Ariana Grande, Meghan Trainor, Michael Bublé, Sam Smith and Mariah Carey.

Also starting at noon on Wednesday is SiriusXM's Holiday Traditions on Channel 4, which features traditional holiday music from the '40s through the '60s from artists such as Andy Williams, Ray Conniff, Bing Crosby and Nat “King” Cole.

Both channels will run through Saturday, December 30 at 3 a.m.

SiriusXM plans six other holiday channels to launch over the course of the holiday season:

Navidad on Channel 785 will run from Monday, November 27 at noon through Sunday, January 7 at 3 a.m., and feature contemporary Latin holiday music and traditional classics from artists like Jose Feliciano, Fania All-Stars, Gloria Estefan, Marco Antonio Solis, El Gran Combo and Tito El Bambino.

Country Christmas on Channel 58 runs from Monday, December 4 at noon through Tuesday, December 26 at 3 a.m., and features a mix of contemporary and classic country artists like Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, and Willie Nelson.

Holiday Soul launches Monday, December 4 at noon and runs through Tuesday, December 26 at 3 a.m., nad will feature classic Soul and Motown holiday music from the '60s and '70s as well as R&B from the '80s and '90s, including music from Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Dionne Warwick, The Four Tops, The Supremes, The O’Jays, James Brown, The Temptations, Lou Rawls and Toni Braxton.

Radio Hanukkah on Channel 77 runs from Tuesday, December 12 at noon through Thursday, December 21 at 3 a.m., and includes an extensive selection of Hanukkah-themed music, including contemporary, traditional and children’s selections as well as daily reflections and prayers related to the holiday.

Holiday Pops on Channel 76 will run from Saturday, December 24 at noon through Tuesday, December 26 at 3 a.m. It will include classical Christmas carols and other holiday favorites by the greatest classical musicians of all-time, including the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Boston Pops, Luciano Pavarotti, The New York Philharmonic, King’s College Choir and Thomas Hampson.

Finally, New Year's Nation on Channel 4 will help ring in 2018 and run from Saturday, December 30 at noon through Tuesday, January 2 at 3 a.m. It is the ultimate soundtrack to New Year’s Eve parties around the country and will feature the biggest, upbeat party hits from genres across SiriusXM’s music platform.
