Buckhead jeweler ‘blings out’ stars Meek Mill, Drake, Offset

In fact, when we stopped by, we saw comedian Michael Blackson, and boxer Adrian Broner to name a few

ATLANTA — It’s the Buckhead jeweler that has iced out Meek Mill, Drake and every Atlanta artist you can think of but who is the family behind the successful business?

The A-Scene got an exclusive look in to the brothers behind Icebox Diamond and Watches.

Top artists from all over the country are coming to the Buckhead jeweler to buy their icy pieces – including Migos, Atlanta legends like TI, Ludacris, actors, NFL players, and NBA players.

In fact, when we stopped by, we saw comedian Michael Blackson, Yung Miami, and boxer Adrian Broner to name a few.

Meet one of the three Jooma brothers, Rafi.

“My parents started off selling jewelry at flea markets - sterling silver and turquoise jewelry.  Then they started adding more diamond jewelry and gold jewelry and moved from there. And now we have customized watches and pretty much everything from start to finish,” Jooma said.

Our cameras rolled as Danielle designed a heart ring that was sold to Offset from the Migos.

“Now we’re making it a product line,” Jooma said.

Jooma says an engineering program called rhino helps shape and create the jewel layout. Then, it’s time to set.

The A-Scene’s Francesca Amiker toured the Ice Box factory where the ideas come to life.

“We have our 3-D printers over here and that will create them all for the item. And then it goes to the casting process over there and then from free polish to the diamond setting over here to assembling the item to finishing and polishing at the end. And then it’s sold as an actual piece of jewelry,” Jooma said.

Raf Joomai gave the A-scene the all-star treatment and even let Francesca try on a ring worth $17,000.
