Jeezy on TM 104, Jeezy Day, legend of Snowman

ATLANTA — We recently caught up with Atlanta rapper and businessman Jeezy The Snowman on the heels of the release of his new album off the Thug Motivation series titled “TM 104: The Legend Of The Snowman”.

The album features some big-time industry heavy-weights such as Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Ty Dolla $ign, John Legend, and it really details his life like an audio  book of lessons throughout the years. He came by to reflect with The A-Scene’s Francesca Amiker.

“I love the [song] EnTRAPreneur. You know we always associate the music with trap. For me, I feel like its gotta be bigger than me,” Jeezy said. “For me, I’m an entrepreneur. I own several businesses and several ventures. I can’t be scared to grow.”

Additionally, Jeezy performed an All White Concert in celebration of the release of his latest album, this past Friday for a sold-out crowd at the Coca-Cola Roxy in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.

At the show he received two additional awards Pandora’s 1 Billion Streams and his second honor of the weekend from the city of Atlanta, a proclamation declaring August 23, 2019 as Jeezy Day.

The night before the Grammy nominated multi-platinum artist, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Jeezy, hosted the first-ever SnoBall with Atlanta’s hip hop and political and corporate elite at the Waldorf Astoria Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia. Atlanta

Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, former Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, T.I., NeNe Leakes, Brad James, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Takeo Spikes, Big Tigger, and more arrived in style and ready to give back to at risk youth through the Street Dreamz Foundation Technology Initiative.

Emmy-award winning news anchor and mistress of ceremonies, Karyn Greer, welcomed the crowd followed by a blessing lead by radio personality, Frank Ski.

 The evening closed with the biggest surprise of the night when Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms presented Jeezy with a Phoenix Award, the city's highest honor, for his work with the youth of Atlanta and in his hometown of Hawkinsville, Ga. 

The crowd raised a total of $61,500 in donations benefiting the Street Dreamz Foundation Technology Initiative, which provides technology and technology-based solutions for students in need.

In reflecting the on his debut album to his current release, Jeezy says he remains honest about his approach to music.

“Stay true. Stay solid. Never let this game tapper with your integrity,” Jeezy said.
