Tyler Perry filming more new TV shows in Atlanta

The media mogul is bringing back his hit TV show “House of Payne”

ATLANTA — Tyler Perry is just getting started with more productions coming to the state of Georgia.

Ever since the historic grand opening of his studio, we've just learned, according to Explore Georgia, he's been working on two more new shows for BET + and Nickelodeon.

We first learned about the production for Nickelodeon back in October.

The star went on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" where he talked about making so many dreams come true through his own platforms.

The writer, actor, producer delivered quite the surprise during the appearance

The beloved talk show host welcomed 10-year-old rapper Dylan Gilmer, also known as “Young Dylan,” from Annapolis, MD.

Dylan came on the show to talk about his guest-starring role on the revival of Nickelodeon’s hit series “All That,” which Ellen helped him secure.

Ellen shared her excitement for the young star with Perry, who was blown away by Dylan’s audition tape.

But it didn’t stop there, Perry surprised Dylan by announcing he’s writing a show with Dylan as the lead for Nickelodeon.

Ellen kept the surprises coming by giving the young star some gifts to help set up his new dressing room.

No other details have been released about the show, but keep in mind Perry’s original studios locations, was next door to an assisted living facility.

The biggest show he's working on? 'Tyler Perry’s 'House of Payne' season 7′.

The show about an Atlanta family will be moving from the Oprah Winfrey Network to BET in fall 2020.
