ATLANTA- Here's a look at nearly all of the series and movies shooting around Atlanta and Georgia for the week of July 16th. Be sure to share any production signs or celebrity photos you're able to get!

S&K- Friday the 13th was a lucky day for the A-Scene team! Our Facebook follower Kineka York-Weeks caught this photo of an S&K sign. Our A-Scene MVP Jake the Intern did some on-the-ground sleuth work in Decatur to uncover that this is the sign code for Melissa McCarthy's new comedy "Super Intelligence"!

In the movie McCarthy plays a woman whose life is turned upside down when she is selected for observation by the world's first superintelligence - a form of artificial intelligence that may or may not take over the world.

TOGS- "Legacies" is the next installment off of the CW hit "The Vampire Diaries". It is shooting in Conyers. Val Crisp spotted this TOGS sign there on Friday the 13th and shared it with our A-Scene Facebook Group. If you're wondering about the code, the last spinoff in the series was The OriGinalS.

HVN-The Fox X-Men spinoff "The Gifted" was spotted in Conyers last week and the College Park area last week based on recent casting calls. We just got word that the second season will premiere later this year on September 25. We found them shooting around Nelson Street between Chapel and Magnum Streets.

Thanks for sharing this sign photo for Queen America with Catherine Zeta-Jones with the A-Scene Kelsey Warren.

WTM- Thanks to an e-mail tipster, the A-Scene has learned this is the code for the Catherine Zeta-Jones production "Queen America". It is about a ruthless pageant coach who meets her match when she is paired with the beautiful, yet unrefined Samantha. Kelsey Warren found this sign outside The Benz on Tuesday. The series will be Downtown this week including at the World Congress Center. The show will air on Facebook Watch, and is an important part of the social media giant's move into video.

SF - The Walking Dead. Extras Casting, the company that handles casting for “The Walking Dead,” continues to put out calls that seem to be for people to portray zombies. The location fits, shooting 20-30 miles south of Atlanta which is near TWD outpost in Senoia. Keep your eyes open for production signs in the area marked “SF” for “Stalwart Films”. If you find one, share your photo with theAScene@11alive.com. Watch for casting calls in our A-Scene Facebook group. We'll share them there.

McFLY, 1080, BLK45, PCF7 - These are all sign codes used by the Netflix hit “Stranger Things.” Laura Starr Wilson posted a BLK45 sign she spotted off of South Cobb Drive in our group on Tuesday. Production has been steady in a number of locations around Atlanta. Casting calls point to more Season 3 shoots around Atlanta this week. Here's a link to a story and video on Stranger Things transforming Gwinnett Place Mall into a 1980's mall.

EYE - “MacGyver,” the CBS reboot of the classic series, started production on Season 3 in Loganville last week before moving to other parts of Atlanta. A-Scene follower David Binder shared this production sign shot with us last week and The A-Scene caught a sign off of Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd this weekend. Keep an eye out for any “EYE” signs around town this week.

TR-The Fox series "The Resident” is back for season two and is getting ready to shoot in the Conyers area. It also shoots around the High Museum and Woodruff Art's Center sometimes. Thanks Christy Benton for sharing this photo with us.

STU - It looks like “Stuber” has moved on to post-production. We found signs posted at Third Rail Studios for the past week or so. 20th Century Fox set the release date for May 24, 2019. The comedy-drama movie is about an Uber driver that gets roped in to a detective's search for a dangerous killer. Will he still get a 5-star review? It stars Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) as the detective and Kumali Nanjiani (The Big Sick) as the Uber driver.

GED - Why would we see production signs for a movie that wrapped up shooting months ago and is set to hit theaters on September 28th? We may have the answer. “Night School,” starring Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish used “GED” production signs while it was filming here in Atlanta. It turns out the same company behind “Night School,” Will Packer Productions, is also producing the upcoming comedy movie, “Little.” “Little” stars Justin Hartley (This Is Us) and Issa Rae (Insecure). We believe they could just be recycling the “GED” sign for this film. Help us confirm by sending pictures of any ”GED” signs our way, or if you work on the shoot and can confirm!

KIKI- The Clint Eastwood-directed movie “The Mule” made a return to Augusta last week, where they initially started filming. Between the visits to the Augusta area, they shot all over Georgia, including in Jonesboro, McDonough, Rome, Douglasville, Tucker, Norcross, and East Atlanta Village. "The Mule" also shot in downtown Atlanta in the Fairlie, Forsyth, and Marietta Street area last week. Here's a link to the story on that shoot here.

One of our A-Scene followers also sent us signs from a shoot at a Norcross high school on Wednesday.

Kristin Laffler shared this great photo of Clint Eastwood with the A-Scene. Share your prouction signs and celebrity sighting photos with the A-Scene.

Another A-Scene Facebook group member, Kristen Laffler, caught the above photo of Eastwood in the director's chair while they were in East Atlanta Village. Just recently, we found their basecamp set up at the Cheshire Motor Inn right down the road from A-Scene headquarters! The film is based on the true story of a World War II veteran in his 90s that gets caught smuggling millions of dollars in drugs for the Sinaloa Cartel. Bradley Cooper, Laurence Fishburne, and Michael Peña will join Eastwood.

Sun Springs - This is the code for the movie "Poms". Diane Keaton and Jackie Weaver will star in this unique twist on a cheerleading flick. The comedy is based on the true story of a retirement community that formed a cheerleading squad. They’ve been filming in the Hampton area for the past few weeks and are sticking there this week.

CK, NWH - YouTube has been busy building up their catalog of shows for their streaming service, YouTube Premium (formerly YouTube Red). Two of those shows are shooting here, and they’ve both been using signs marked “CK.” “Now We Here” is a comedy about a rap star and his entourage.

The A-Scene captured these pictures from their base camp at the Electric Cowboy nightclub in Kennesaw last week! Now We Here is shooting in Atlanta on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. The YouTube original Cobra Kai is based on the Karate Kid films. We understand it is between production seasons right now.

FCE- Tyson's Run is a movie about an autistic boy's attempt to connect with his father by training for a marathon. Our A-Scene crew found signs and a base camp on Marietta Square last week. They’ll be filming the majority of the film there.

ELIXIR- This is the code for the much anticipated Dwayne Johnson adventure move "Jungle Cruise". It's based on the old Disney ride by that name. We've posted several casting calls for it. Right now, a lot of the shooting seems to be centered at Blackhall Studios East.

After- We've seen casting calls for this one the past few weeks. It's a movie where a young woman heads off to college and falls for a bad boy with a dark secret.

Raising Dion- We've also seen casting calls for this one. It's a Netflix series about the challenges a single mom faces when she discovers her young son has super powers.

Black Lightning- The CW superhero series based on the DC comic of the same name is still shooting around Atlanta this week. There are shoots scheduled for Lithonia and Decatur this week.

Emperor – The Civil War-era historical drama has been shooting in Savannah for a few weeks and they’re set stay there until the end of July. It stars Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries) and Dayo Okeniyi (The Hunger Games).

Doctor Sleep – Stephen King’s sequel to “The Shining” is expected to start shooting in Atlanta in September. It continues the story with grown-up Danny Torrance, still dealing with the harrowing aftermath of what went down at the Overlook Hotel in “The Shining.” Mike Flanagan has been tapped to direct the film. He already has experience adapting Stephen King novels into film, as he directed “Gerald’s Game” for Netflix last year.
