He’s wearing the same shirt he wore in his mug shot taken early Wednesday morning at the Henry County jail. In an Instagram Live video, T.I. said he was “looking like yesterday” at a birthday party for his 10-year-old son, Major.

That’s because at around 4:30 this morning, he was arrested outside of the gate to his subdivision. He was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after his lawyer said the guard wrongfully refused entry to the community and called police after and argument.

On Instagram live, T.I. didn’t explain what happened but called it “nonsense.”

“I was inconvenienced and arrested,” he said.

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, called the arrest “small potatoes” in comparison to what he’s been through in the past.

He ended the short video saying despite it all, he made it to his son’s birthday and will “let God deal with the craziness.”
