NORCROSS, Ga. — Chicken fans in one metro Atlanta neighborhood are in luck. Chick-fil-A is testing its own delivery service meaning that their buttered sandwich - complete with a pickle - comes to you!

The Chick-fil-A on Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Norcross announced earlier in the month that it would be one of the locations that would be offering delivery services beginning May 14.

Since May 3, the countdown has been on for when the service would begin at their location specifically. To be part of it, customers need to download the Chick-fil-A app. From there, customers can place their order and select a delivery location - provided they're in that general area of Gwinnett County.

To sweeten the deal, the Chick-fil-A location even offered surprises to the first 100 people to place an order - along with three unnamed grand prizes for random orders.

Fans like Tracy Vance Boykin were pretty excited about the announcement.

"Ordered first thing this morning," she wrote on their Facebook page on Tuesday. "Any day that starts with ChicFilA bringing me a frosted coffee is a great day!!!"

While bringing the delivery process in-house is new for the Atlanta-based chicken shop, it's not their first time dipping into deliveries.

The company officially partnered with DoorDash for delivery from upwards of 1,100 of its restaurants back in late 2018. Chick-fil-A's own delivery service is still only available at select locations right now. So, it doesn't appear that it will have any direct impact on their partnership - at least not for now.
