How do you kick off Hanukkah with a bang? Break the world record for Most People Spinning Dreidels Simultaneously.

The Manischewitz Company celebrated the first night of Hanukkah by doing just that.

The company partnered with students and staff of the Rosenbaum Yeshiva of north New Jersey to spin a world record 1,369 dreidels at the same time - blowing through the previous record of 965 dreidels. That record was set in 2017 by the National Jamboree's carnival, Jambopalooza.

The eight-day celebration of Hanukkah began at sundown on Dec. 2. Traditions include lighting the menorah, playing the dreidel game, gift-giving and food.
