A snake bite is something that most people would wish to forget.

Not 6-year-old Levi Fisher from Marietta. In fact, he commemorates the day he was bitten by a copperhead with a “snakeversary.”

On August 3, 2014, the then 2-year-old was rushed to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, where he spent four days being treated with antivenom in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

Every year since Levi and his family have remembered his “snakeversary” in a special way: by thanking those who helped save his life.

In 2017, he delivered pizza to first responders at the fire department. This year, Levi visited Children’s on Aug. 10, bringing ice cream sandwiches to PICU staff and his handwritten thanks.
