MARIETTA, Ga. — Santa is hoping for a Christmas miracle to find his dog.
Allen McCahren plays Santa Claus at local malls each year.
He and his wife Lynn have a chocolate Labrador named Mickey. Mickey has severe arthritis in his back legs and has gone days without his medicine.
The McCahrens said Mickey escaped their fence Wednesday and has not been seen since. They live not far from Shallowford Road and Sandy Plains Road in Marietta.
Without his medicine, Mickey may not be able to walk well. They are desperate to find him.
The couple has been posting photos of Mickey and checking with East Cobb veterinarians and Animal Control, but they haven't had any sightings of him yet.
They are hoping someone spots Mickey so that he can come back home. If anyone sees Mickey, contact the McCahrens at 404-895-7278.
