ATLANTA — Two local residents have reason to celebrate after two winning Lottery tickets worth $50,000 each were sold.

Lottery officials said the winning tickers were for the March 3 Powerball and were sold in Conyers and Newnan.

The winning tickets were sold at the Food Mart business at 974 Pleasant Hill Road NW in Conyers, and Coweta Country Junction, located at 1502 Highway 29 N. in Newnan.

Winning numbers from the March 3 drawing were: 13-17-25-36-40 and the Powerball was 5.

A winner claimed the Conyers ticket Tuesday at Georgia Lottery headquarters, but the Newnan ticket has not been claimed yet.

In Georgia, Powerball winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes.
