5 students charged after anti-Semitic messages 'graffitied' on homeowner's driveway

MILTON, Ga. — The Milton Police Department said they have charged five students responsible for anti-Semitic messages found in a resident 's driveway Monday morning.

In a police report, the homeowner told officers she woke up Monday morning to find the inappropriate pictures and statements written in shaving cream. She also said toilet paper was thrown into her trees.

She told police her son is a senior at Milton High School, where a junior-senior prank war was underway.

Police later identified five students as those responsible. During its investigation, the Milton Police Department said it "explored all local, state and federal laws that may apply to this incident, including an initial referral to the FBI as a possible hate crime."

Milton detectives charged two 17-year-old students under a city vandalism ordinance. Three minors will also be charged with criminal trespass.

In additional, two adults, McKenna Blaine and Katherine Stein, were issued city citations on April 13 and have court dates pending.
