This unique community event is hosted by the non-profit organization All Fore One Dunwoody, Inc., which has the support of volunteers and principals from all of the public schools in the Dunwoody High School cluster.

It will take place on Monday, October 1, at Dunwoody Country Club located at 1600 Dunwoody Club Drive.

Golf registration will begin at 8:30 a.mm with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. for a 4-person scramble format.

Tennis registration will open at 11 a.m. with the round robin beginning at 12:30 p.m. Food and beverage will be served at both events.

“We are thrilled to announce the addition of a round robin at the Dunwoody Country Club tennis facility,” said organizer Jenny Shulman. “Part of our mission is to bring our community together, and including our tennis players in our days events will help us to accomplish more for our great public schools.”

The 2017 inaugural All Fore One tournament was so successful that organizers presented a $20,000 donation for capital improvements to DHS Principal Priscilla Cole and Melissa Humphries and other representatives of the Game On campaign.

The 2017 inaugural All Fore One tournament was so successful that organizers presented a $20,000 donation for capital improvements to DHS Principal Priscilla Cole and Melissa Humphries and other representatives of the Game On campaign.

The All Fore One donation was used with funds raised from other community sources to complete the first phase of improvements to the outdoor facilities behind the school.

Improvements include the addition of a 1,000 seat bleacher, storage buildings, and a perimeter sidewalk and fencing around the track.

Every student will benefit from these improvements. All students are required to participate in physical education, and those students who play instruments in the band practice outdoors.

Several high school sports, including soccer, lacrosse and football, will be able to host games on the rear Dunwoody High School field, while the school currently offers no home field accommodations.

Community members frequently access the track for exercise when it is not in use for school activities.

“All Fore One is a must-play in my book,” said Norm Hanson, Dunwoody resident and 2017 All Fore One golfer. “Where else can you play such an incredible course with great friends while supporting our local schools? The tournament is a blast, and you have a great chance at winning some really nice prizes. I have had this marked on my calendar since I walked off the 18th green last year.”

Event organizers are still seeking sponsorships. More information is available online at www.allforeonedunwoody.org.
