ATLANTA — A threat called into South Atlanta High School led to the entire campus being evacuated on Wednesday as police swept the area.

Several federal and local agencies assisted Atlanta Public Schools police on Wednesday as they along with K9 units from DeKalb County scoured the campus for any evidence of a bomb.

Despite the threatening call, police found nothing that corroborated it and eventually gave the all clear according to Atlanta Public Schools spokesperson Ian Smith.

Students and staff eventually returned to the building. Officials haven't made any announcements of a suspect or an arrest in the phoned-in threat.
