Boy gets his wish to be Batman for his first plane ride

A 4-year-old gets to go on an airplane from Make-A-Wish.

While holiday travel may have you singing fa-la-la-la-la, one 4-year-old at the airport has a different song in mind: Da-na-na-na-na-na-na-na BATMAN!

"He's so cool," said Justice Fitch.

The boy just had his special wish granted - which may have people looking twice at the Atlanta Airport... as Fitch, er, Batman, gets on a plane.

The 4-year-old's wish was to fly on a plane for the first time, because, "Batman can fly," he said.

But Make-A-Wish Georgia didn't stop there. They threw in an incredible trip to Disney, Universal, and Sea World.

"They went all out for him, so it's pretty awesome," Fitch's mom Angela told 11Alive.

She said she knew he would want to wear his Batman mask for the trip.

"It gives him kind of a relief - an out I think. Like, he can always save the day," Angela said. "He said when he goes on the airplane, he can save the day if something happens, so he had to bring his mask and everything."

Justice has Cystic Fibrosis and Angela said the distraction of this trip is exactly what he needs.

"He is a warrior," she said. "He's had so many surgeries, so much. He has CF. Right from day one, he's had surgery after surgery. He was in the NICU for three months. The research is going a lot better now."

Angela said he's usually in the hospital, so when he heard he would get to get on a plane and go to Disney, he couldn't wait!

"We had to wait several months after we found out. He would say, 'What day is it?' And we would mark it off," she recalled.

While most of his young life has been spent at the doctor, the hospital, and in treatment, "Batman" only has one thing he wants to do at Disney this week: "PLAY," he exclaimed.

Justice and his family get to hang out in Orlando until Friday. They said they plan to enjoy every second away from the hospital during this incredibly special trip.
