Make-A-Wish Georgia currently has nearly 700 children on its waiting list. These boys and girls struggling with life-threatening illnesses are waiting for their wishes to be granted.

From a basketball court to a trip to Disney World, families of Make-A-Wish children say the wishes bring their children hope while dealing with daunting doctors' appointments and surgeries.

10-year-old Joshua Barfield had his wish granted, and now as a Make-A-Wish ambassador, he's sharing his story along with his mother, Lee Barfield and younger brother Caleb.
