ATLANTA — A 16-year-old has died after being shot in southeast Atlanta on Thursday night.
The unidentified victim was found shot in the torso near a wood line at a location on Redford Drive, in a neighborhood to the west of Moreland Avenue.
The teen had been alert and conscious when he was transported to Grady Hospital, according to police, but later died of his injuries.
Another victim, identified as 20-year-old Lovett Tennie, was shot in the leg.
Police have not named a suspect, but said they believe the individual fled in a four-door sedan.
