SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — An arrest has been made after three people were killed in a shooting in South Fulton early Saturday morning, police said.

According to Lt. Derrick Rogers with the South Fulton Police Department, officers responded to reports of shots fired and an overturned vehicle at about 4 a.m. March 21 in the 6600 block of Hidden Brook Trail, near Flat Shoals Road, east of Interstate 85.

Rogers said when they arrived, officers discovered a male victim lying in the street, suffering from a gunshot wound. That individual was pronounced dead on the scene.

Two others were found in an overturned vehicle, Rogers said. They both were also suffering from gunshot wounds. He said they were transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and later pronounced dead from their injuries.

A preliminary investigation indicated that the victims arrived at a home on Hidden Brook Trail to visit someone, Rogers said. During this visit, an altercation took place leading to an exchange of gunfire between all parties, he said.

When police entered the home, they found several guns and narcotics inside. Investigators seized the items.

They later identified 38-year-old Steven Louder, a resident of the home, as a suspect and charged him with three counts each of murder, aggravated assault, as well as several weapons and narcotics offenses.
