Police: Suspects smashed into several cars as they escaped onto Peachtree Road

ATLANTA — Atlanta Police have released surveillance photos of three men they said were responsible for the shooting death of a 28-year-old man in the parking lot of a Buckhead bar early Saturday morning. They also released video of the suspect car from the shooting.

According to Atlanta Police Captain Ricardo Vazquez, the incident happened at in the parking lot of the Hole in the Wall bar in the 3100 block of Peachtree Road.

Atlanta Police Officer Lisa Bender said an officer working an auto accident on Peachtree Road heard gunshots from a nearby parking lot at about 3:30 a.m. and responded immediately.

The officer found the victim, later identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office as 28-year-old Sean Moboey, suffering from gunshot wounds in the torso and arm.

Moboey was taken by ambulance to Grady Memorial Hospital in downtown Atlanta in critical condition. He passed away from his injuries at the hospital.

Witnesses told the officer that Moboey and three suspects were involved in an argument in the parking lot, when one of the suspects shot Moboey.

According to Vazquez, Moboey and the suspects did not appear to know each other.

The suspects drove off in a burgundy Nissan Altima which struck several vehicles as it left the parking lot, pulling onto Peachtree Road.

Investigators said the Altima has front end damage, and possibly damage to its windshield from gunshots.
