When deputies attempted to stop the truck, authorities said Bayrmon rammed a patrol car. Deputies responded by converging on the truck and cutting off the suspect's escape.

The arrest stems from the shooting death of 27-year-old Priscilla Colbert on April 11. Clayton County police investigated the shooting and as of April 13 had several "person of interest" but had not named a suspect. The police department later identified Bayrmon and the sheriff's office task force joined the investigation.
