HALL COUNTY, Ga. —

One man is in jail after authorities found nearly $13,000 worth of narcotics in his possession last Wednesday in Hall County.

According to the Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (MANS), 21-year-old Guadalupe Aguilar, of Gainesville, was found with 129 grams of methamphetamine packaged in 15 bags off Monroe Drive.

MANS said Aguilar also had a handgun, digital scales, packaging materials and three methamphetamine smoking devices. 

The street value of the methamphetamine was $12,9000, according to MANS.

Authorities said Aguilar was taken to Hall County Jail and charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of a Gun by a Convicted Felon, and Violation of the Georgia Street Gang Terrorism and Violence Prevention Act.
