MONROE COUNTY, Ga. — Law enforcement officers have taken a juvenile into custody in connection with a Monroe County homicide investigation.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, they were called to the scene on Tingle Road Sunday. The victim, 42-year-old Tryeflue Lerra O'Neal, lived at the home, deputies said. Details about how O'Neal died have not been released.
The suspect in the case - a juvenile - was taken into custody in South Carolina. Authorities said the minor will be extradited to Monroe County to face charges in the case.
The victim's body was taken to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab for an autopsy. The case is still under investigation.
