The officer was shot following a police chase.

Law enforcement agencies are sending their condolences to the Hall County Sheriff's Office after a deputy was killed in the line of duty Sunday night.

According to the Hall County Sheriff's Office, Nicolas Dixon was shot and killed following a police chase.
