Atlanta police are searching for a man accused in a string of armed robberies targeting pedestrians in the Buckhead and West Midtown neighborhoods – most commonly women.

One victim reported that he robbed her in her apartment elevator while she went to pick up a food delivery. When she ignored him, she told police he pulled out a small black pistol and threatened to kill her if she screamed.
Another woman reported that she was leaving her friend’s apartment and was talking on her cell phone when the suspect pointed a gun at her outside the apartment and demanded her cell phone and purse. Another victim reported that he was getting something out of his car when the suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded his wallet, cell phone, book bag, and keys. A woman was also reportedly robbed at gunpoint by a suspect as she walked across a parking deck.
The suspect is described as a slim black man, approximately 6 feet tall in his late ‘20s. During the crimes, he has worn dark clothing. Police consider him to be armed.
