FAIRBURN, Ga. — Police are trying to sort out the facts of what led to a shooting after the gunman claims he shot a man in self-defense.

It all unfolded Wednesday afternoon off Margaret Street near Fairburn.

According to Fairburn Police, a 36-year-old man was sitting inside his car on Margaret Street, talking to a 37-year-old who was standing outside of the car.

At some point, police said the two got into an argument and the 36-year-old shot the other man and drove off.
