ATLANTA — A MARTA bus driver was robbed at gunpoint overnight off I-285 southbound between exit 34 and 36.
MARTA communications spokesperson, Stephany Fisher said the bus driver was waiting for help around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday with the vehicle when someone pulled up and robbed him at gunpoint.
Luckily, Fisher said the driver was not injured and there were no passengers on the bus at the time.
MARTA Police are still investigating the incident.
Fisher said the bus route is operating on its regular schedule.
