NEWNAN, Ga. -- Police in Newnan and the CrimeStoppers tip network are on the lookout for a man connected to a shooting earlier Tuesday.

The Newnan Police Department released an alert on social media in the early evening warning that 32-year-old Roylondo Jamorio Cook is still on the run after allegedly committing the crime on Fairmount Drive.

Police believe that he shot into a vehicle striking the victim two times. While that victim's condition wasn't released, police did say that the person managed to drive to a nearby location and have someone else call for help.

Cook is described as a black male who is about 5 feet 5 inches tall and 130 pounds. He was last seen at 72 Fairmount Drive and witnesses said he was running from the area with a white female - though that person's connection to the crime, if any, wasn't made clear.

Cook faces a charge of aggravated assault and police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta at 404-577-8477 (TIPS). The organization is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
