DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — One person is in critical condition after police say he was shot at a DeKalb apartment complex.
According to DeKalb Police spokesperson Michaela Vincent, the shooting happened around 6 p.m. on Tuesday in the 300 block of Hatton Drive - Oak Forest Apartments.
Officers arrived at the Scottdale neighborhood apartment complex to find a black male in his 30s inside an apartment suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment and Vincent said he was in critical condition.
Police said the motive in the shooting is unknown and police don't yet have any suspects identified in the crime. As such, the investigation is still ongoing.
The victim's name also hasn't been released.
