Parent wanted for threatening middle school girls on Snapchat

Police said he said he would kill the 'little b******' if they messed with his daughter.

SNELLVILLE, Ga. - A Snellville man is being sought out by more than one Gwinnett agency after a social media video surfaced of him threatening to kill a group of young girls for messing with his daughter.

A 12-year-old student of Grace Snell Middle School brought the video to the attention of Gwinnett police after he saw it around 7 a.m. on April 23. It shows a parent, later identified as Kurt A. Dixon, making threats against students.

The student told police the video disturbed him greatly and reminded him of the "school shooting stuff on the news" adding that he felt like he had to tell someone. He brought the video to the attention of one of his teachers.

From there, it ended up in the hands of a school resource officer.

The video allegedly shows the father threatening to kill "all you little b******" if they were to touch his daughter. He then dares them to tell their parents adding that he would be "pulling up tomorrow" to deal with the kids and beat up their parents too.

"I will f*** your pops up," he allegedly said in the video.

According to the school resource officer, the threat apparently stems from a game that students are playing on Snapchat called "Show or hid" where the kids insult each other but hide their names. He said that one of the girls apparently thought that her friend was going to get beat up and told her.

From there, that girl told her father, who took to Snapchat with a message of his own. Gwinnett police have since received warrants for Dixon's arrest. But weeks have passed and he's still on the run.

The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office has now joined the search and they're asking for the public to help.

They released his photo on Thursday with a brief description and a general message to the public: "Y'all know that nothing posted to the Internet is private."

Anyone with information about Dixon is asked to call the sheriff's office tip line at 770-619-6838.
