Gwinnett Police on the search for suspect behind fatal road rage shooting

According to Gwinnett County Police, the incident began when the victims exited from I-85 north onto Indian Trail Lilburn Road.

GWINNETT, Ga. — Police are asking for the public's assistance in tracking down the person responsible for a fatal road rage shooting late Tuesday night. The shooting left one person dead and another in critical condition in unincorporated Lilburn. 

It happened on Tuesday shortly before 10:30 p.m. 

According to Gwinnett County Police, the incident began when the victims exited from I-85 north onto Indian Trail Lilburn Road. Investigators said an unknown number of shots were fired between there and Dickens Road striking two of the five men in the car. 

Police said one person died from the shooting and the other victim is fighting for his life in the hospital. Names have yet to be released at this time.
