A 38-year-old man has been identified as the suspect who allegedly stabbed a security guard at the Major League Bar & Grill in Tucker on Saturday.
He has been identified as Michael Thomas and is not in custody at this time, according to DeKalb County Police.
A witness told police that the security guard was escorting Thomas out of the bar for causing trouble inside. The two men got into a physical fight outside the bar, and the security guard was stabbed in the chest.
Police believe Thomas fled the scene in a Nissan Altima. No one saw the stabbing occur, according to DeKalb County Police.
The security guard was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
