COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A metro Atlanta teen who is facing charges in connection with three separate violent misdemeanors - a rape, a murder, and an armed robbery - was recently indicted for one of them.
A grand jury indicted Myliek Dunn at the end of February for one of the crimes, officials confirmed. He was first indicted in August of 2019 at just 15 years old.
11Alive received warrants, all from Cobb County, that outline some of the details from each crime.
The first crime happened on April 29, 2019. The warrant lists charges for armed robbery, aggravated assault with the intent to rob, and the violation of street gang unlawful acts. It happened in the 1800 block of East-West Connector in Cobb County.
The document claims that Dunn was one of three suspects who were part of the robbery. The victim was held a gunpoint and hit with a metal pipe in his back and legs. The warrant alleges the victim's iPhone, a ring, and $50 were stolen.
The warrant states the victim told authorities he heard someone use the name "10-40" during the crime, which Dunn admitted is his nickname. The suspect is also accused of sending a text to the victim, taunting him about the robbery and trying to extort money from him in exchange for the return of stolen property.
The warrant claims that "RKN" was mentioned during the text correspondence. The warrant alleges that Dunn claimed he was a member of the Rolling 60’s Neighborhood Crips and that he created a hybrid street gang known as “Rich Kid Nation."
Weeks later, the May 11, 2019 crime Dunn is accused of led to the charges of felony murder, aggravated assault, and the possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. The victim was just 16 years old, according to the warrant.
The document alleges that Dunn met with the teen for a "physical altercation" and pulled out a gun, shooting him. The victim died at the hospital.
In a third warrant which is the crime that Dunn was recently indicted for he is accused of child molestation and rape.
The warrant alleges that Dunn "got on top of the child while the child was sitting on the bed and started kissing the child." She told him to stop. The victim, 11 years old, was also raped. The incident happened between Dec. 2 and Jan. 27, according to the warrant.
