ATLANTA — A 17-year-old girl was shot in the leg at a party of 'about 15-20 teenagers,' Atlanta Police said Wednesday morning.

The party was at a location on Ollie Street in the Washington Park neighborhood.

According to police, the girl "sustained a gunshot wound to the upper left thigh" and was transported to Grady Hospital in stable condition. The circumstances of the gunshot are not clear.

The teens are the party ranged in age from 15-18, police said.

"This investigation is ongoing to determine what happened during this shooting," the department said.

Atlanta is currently under a two-week stay-at-home order that bans gatherings of 10 or more people. The stay-at-home order is to encourage social distancing and slow the spread of the coronavirus.
