BUTTS COUNTY, Ga. -- One teen is dead and three more are injured after a shooting broke out at a graduation party at a suburban Atlanta home.

Authorities say 16-year-old Cederrius Hastings died after being hit by gunfire.

The Butts County Sheriff Office says deputies responded to a home on Levi Barnes Road shortly after midnight Saturday where they found four victims, including Hastings, who had been shot.

Emergency responders transported all of the victims, but say Hastings later died at an Atlanta hospital. Officials say that one of the victims was released from the hospital Saturday, while another was expected to be released later Sunday. The third victim was still in serious condition.

Investigators say they are still pursuing leads and possible suspects, but don't yet have a motive for the shooting. Officials do not believe the victims, all of whom are from Griffin, Ga., were the intended targets of the shooting.

The Sheriff's Office said that there had been several calls made pertaining to a graduation ceremony earlier Saturday, but said none of the calls seemed to be viable threats against the ceremony. Nevertheless, the Sheriff's Office said they took the necessary precautions to ensure they safety of those who attended the event Saturday night.

It's not clear whether this incident is related to those threats received.
