While an employee's back was turned, he made off with a pile of expensive jewelry, police said.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police in Gwinnett are trying to find a man who allegedly stole $14,000 worth of jewelry while a store employee was busy with customers.

The crime happened on Dec. 29, 2018 at SR Jewelers in the 2100 block of Leasant Hill Road near Duluth.  Police said the employee was helping three other people and her view of one side of the store was blocked.
