STATESBORO, Ga. -- Police near a major Georgia university have given the all-clear after an off-campus shooting that injured three people.
Statesboro police have cleared the scene at Renaissance Apartments near Georgia Southern University.
The off-campus apartment was apparently the end-point of a police investigation into shots fired in the area.
The campus newspaper, the George-Anne and NBC affiliate WSAV-TV both report that police were also called to another apartment complex, Campus Crossing, Thursday evening.

WSAV reports that the investigation then led to Renaissance Apartments.
Both complexes are within walking distance of Allen E. Paulson Stadium, the home field for the Georgia Southern Eagles football team.
While the extent of injuries have not yet been confirmed to 11Alive or partnering news sources, George-Anne staffers report both an ambulance and a helicopter were in a nearby parking lot.
WSAV reports that officers do not yet have a suspect in custody.
