A woman accused of running a commercial sex enterprise with her husband and others pleaded guilty to a charge related to the crime.

The DeKalb County District Attorney's Office said Darliene Crenshaw entered a guilty plea Tuesday to a single count of violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corruption Act.

A judge sentenced her to 20 years with three to serve - the balance will be spent on probation.

Darliene and her husband Samuel Leon Crenshaw were accused of operating an illegal club under the name "Lipstick and Shoes" and, later, "Gold Club". They were indicted in February, along with three others, for being in violation of the RICO Act.

The indictment alleged between February 2015 and August 2016, the Crenshaws used false information and leased units at four Dunwoody apartment complexes for the purpose of pairing “models” and clients to engage in paid sexual activities, the district attorney's office said.

The co-defendants -- George Moore, Tara Lee Gilleo and Giovene Burkhalter -- are accused of conspiring to recruit employees, advertise, secure locations and management appointments and payments.  In addition to their charges, about 57 men and women face prostitution or pandering charges, the district attorney's office said.

Among the special conditions associated with the terms of Darliene Crenshaw's plea agreement, she must pay a fine of $5,000 and perform 200 hours of community service. She has also been ordered to turn herself in to the DeKalb County Jail on Jan. 6, 2019 to begin serving her sentence.
