Zarak Depriest Richardson was found dead in an apartment at the Windsor Landing complex on Southlake Parkway early Monday. Deputies found him after calls about a domestic dispute.

Clayton County homicide detectives arrested Tahara Monica Golston for murder after an investigation Monday morning.

Opal Fern Christian-Jones, 47, was stabbed so severely that her neck was nearly severed in the attack.

Later that night, police said Jones called 911 from Holiday Boulevard and allegedly admitted to committing a murder. When officers made it to the scene, they found Jones' clothes soaked in blood.

Police haven't released a motive in the crime.

Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill said he'll ask the authorities to seek the death penalty for Jones.
