Gwinnett County high schools will dismiss 30 minutes later Tuesday, Dec. 18.

The school district posted on its Facebook page that Gwinnett County Public Schools experienced a technology issue that affected the first final exam testing period for high school students. School officials said they use a vendor to administer the test online and the issue was not on the district's end.

"In order to ensure students have ample time to finish their final exams, all Gwinnett County high schools will dismiss 30 minutes later than originally scheduled today," the post said.

However, district officials said Peachtree Ridge High School will follow its regular schedule because they did not have exams Tuesday.

Dismissal for elementary and middle schools will not be affected and those schools will follow their usual dismissal times.
