CHAMBLEE, Ga. — The DeKalb County School District said a suspect has been detained after a social media post was made about a potential school threat to two of its schools.

School officials said around 1 a.m. Wednesday, DeKalb County School District Public Safety was made aware of a social media post about Chamblee Middle and Chamblee High schools.

As a precaution, extra police presence was placed at the schools.

The district said a person was detained, but they couldn't release any additional information.

This is still an active investigation.
