ATLANTA — Music legends Earth, Wind & Fire and Carlos Santana have announced a joint tour that will take them around the country - and through Atlanta - over the summer.

The Miraculous Supernatural 2020 Tour begins in California on June 19 and continues with multiple shows in California before moving to destinations around the U.S. The tour will hit the Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood in Atlanta on Aug. 26.

The summer tour will be a continuation of 2019's Supernatural Now tour for Santana but will be the first time he has shared the stage with Earth, Wind & Fire.

"It is a great joy and honor to co-share music with the magnificent elements of Earth, Wind & Fire. We look forward to delight, joy and ecstasy," Santana said in a media release from Live Nation.

2019 was a significant year for Santana who not only celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Grammy Award-winning "Supernatural" but also the 50th anniversary of his Woodstock performance.

Earth, Wind & Fire vocalist Philip Bailey was equally enthusiastic about the upcoming tour.

“We are excited to rock the USA alongside our friend Carlos Santana and his band with their off-the-chart musicianship and high energy show,” he said.

Last year was also a significant year for this group that already had many honors to its name. Earth, Wind & Fire became the first African American R&B group to receive the Kennedy Center Honor in 2019. Nine Grammys and an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame round out many of the group's accolades over five decades.

The general public will get to purchase tickets beginning on Friday at 10 a.m. local time at LiveNation.com. However, Citi card members got access to presale tickets on Wednesday and will have continued access through Citi Entertainment until 10 p.m. on Thursday.

The tour begins on June 19 in San Diego and will finish off just a few stops after Atlanta in Tampa on Aug. 29.
