ATLANTA - Businesses, restaurants, and theme parks from across Georgia are saluting the men and woman who have defended our country on Veterans Day.

From free meals to special discounts, many businesses are showing their appreciation on Saturday, Nov. 11 to the veterans and active-duty military personnel.

Atlanta Parks and Events Military Discounts

Center for Civil and Human Rights: On Nov. 11, free admission on November 11, 2017, with valid Military ID or Form DD214. Family members of veterans will receive 50% off their general admission ticket.

College Football Hall of Fame: Active and retired military with valid ID throughout the year. Tickets only available at the box office.

Georgia Aquarium: The Georgia Aquarium is celebrating Veterans Day by giving all active military and veterans complimentary admission all day on Saturday, Nov. 11. Family members will receive 30% off general admission.

National Parks: On Nov. 11 and 12, the National Parks Service waives all entrance fees to national parks.

Six Flags Over Georgia: The park will be hosting Military Appreciation Days on Veterans Day Weekend, Nov. 11-12. There will be complimentary admission for active military members and up to three dependents. If a military service member is currently deployed, a spouse and up to three dependents can receive complimentary admission with a current military ID card. Active service members can purchase an unlimited amount of additional tickets for family members or friends for 50% off.

World of Coca-Cola: Active Duty and Reserve members of the U.S. Armed Forces, as well as Military Retirees, will receive complimentary admission. From Nov. 2-12, they can purchase up to four tickets for friends and family at 50% off.

Zoo Atlanta: On Nov. 11, veteran, active-duty, retired and reserve members of the U.S. Armed Forces enjoy FREE admission and $4 off general admission for up to six accompanying guests. Present a valid military I.D. at Zoo Atlanta to redeem the discount.

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill: Free meal from a special menu on Saturday.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Free small order of traditional or boneless wings with a side of fries.

California Pizza Kitchen: Free entrée from a special Veterans Day menu.

Chili's: Free meal from a special menu.

Chuck E. Cheese: Free personal one-topping pizza to veterans, active duty personnel and eligible dependents with military ID, proof of service and promo code 5500. The chain also has daily military discounts.

Circle K: Free Polar Pop with the Veterans Day deal on the convenience store chain’s mobile app and with military ID.

Cracker Barrel: Free slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake.

Dunkin' Donuts: Free doughnut of choice, while supplies last.

East Coast Wings + Grill: Free meal from a select menu.

FATZ Café: On Veterans Day 9am-3pm, all Fatz kitchens invite veterans and active military personnel to receive a choice of free Calabash Chicken & Biscuits, Calabash Chicken & Waffles or Calabash Chicken entrée.

Hooters: Free meal for all active military and veterans from a special menu.

Huddle House: Free order of Sweet Cakes, platter-size pancakes available in eight different flavor and topping combinations at all locations nationwide.
