It's hot.
Georgia will experience high temperatures in the 90s for the rest of the week and any time temperatures remain in the 90s or higher over a span of three days, it's considered a heatwave.
Thursday, June 21, is considered the first day of summer but we are already feeling the heat and humidity and it is sticky.
As we look for these higher temperatures, some health risks that you should be looking out for are heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
Some warning signs of heat exhaustion, according to the CDC, are heavy sweating, cold, pale or clammy skin, weak pulse, nausea, vomiting, muscle cramps, weakness, dizziness, headache and the potential to faint.
Some warning signs of heat stroke, also according to the CDC, are high body temperatures, fast pulse, headache, dizziness, nausea, confusion and possible hot, red, dry or damp skin.
Be sure to stay well-hydrated as we enter into these warmer months and stay updated on weather with 11Alive StormTrackers.
