Gov. Kemp, state officials give update on COVID-19 response

ATLANTA —

With more than 13,000 confirmed cases and a death total nearing 500 in Georgia, Gov. Brian Kemp is addressing the public during a media gathering on Monday.

Kemp is joined by Georgia Department of Public Health Commissioner Dr. Kathleen Toomey, Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency Director Homer Bryson, and Georgia National Guard Adjutant General Tom Carden.

The briefing on the state's COVID-19 response is taking place at Liberty Plaza across from the State Capitol.
