'It might make them feel good to see something funny': Sisters post 'joke of the day' on mailbox

For about three weeks now, two sisters have posted a "joke of the day" on their mailbox.

ATLANTA — Neighbors walking down a busy street in Buckhead are stopping every day for a much needed and appreciated laugh.

For about three weeks now, two sisters have posted a "joke of the day" on their mailbox. They've also received notes in return asking them to keep it up!

One neighbor even wrote that they have changed their walking routine so they wouldn't miss a single day. Other neighbors take pictures of the jokes to share with friends.

"Someone might not be the happiest right now because school is canceled and everything," one of the girls said. "So it might make them feel good to see something funny and smile."

They plan on continuing to post the daily jokes until we are past the pandemic.
