GAINESVILLE, GA – 11Alive News has confirmed that troubled comedian Katt Williams was back in a Hall County Jail late Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Williams was arrested Wednesday afternoon at his Gainesville home.

Police decided to charge him after video showing a fight between Williams and a 17-year-old went viral. Both have been charged with disorderly conduct.

Williams had been doing community service in conjunction with a prior conviction, and playing soccer with children at a subsidized housing complex in Gainesville when the fight occurred.

Video of the incident showed Williams being followed, then later confronted by the teen as he sat with his back against a brick wall. Others surrounded the two prior to the fight. After the physical altercation began, the teen eventually wrestled Williams to the ground.

Video from the fight ran on WorldStarHipHop.com, TMZ and numerous other web sites.

Williams remained in the Hall County Jail without bond Wednesday evening and will have a first court appearance before a judge on Thursday.
