FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -- A 12-year-old boy has died several days after passing out at football practice.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Officer confirmed on Friday that Johnny Tolbert had passed away.
Tolbert had been fighting for his life since suffering a heat stroke during practice with the Welcome ALl Park Panthers football team on July 14, family members told 11Alive.
Temperatures peaked in the mid-90s as Tolbert practiced with the team.
Fulton County Parks and Recreation suspended all football practices after the incident.
