MIDDLEBORO, Massachusetts (NEWS CENTER) -- State Police say five people were killed in a crash involving a wrong-way driver on Route 495 in Middleboro Monday morning.
The crash happened near exit 3 on the northbound side just after midnight.
Police believe the sole occupant of a vehicle traveling south crashed head-on into another vehicle with four people inside.
The scene has since been cleared and all lanes are open.
The crash remains under investigation.
