Tuesday marked the 50th anniversary of the one and only time that the Beatles appeared live in Georgia.
The Fab Four played a show at Fulton-County Stadium.
However, that's not the group's only connection to Atlanta. 11Alive's own Bill Liss had a chance to get to know the four back in 1965. Bill was fresh out of college and working in public relations for Trans World Airlines when he flew to London to spend some time with the band.
